Zenobia Jamal
Zenobia has a special interest and expertise in issues of difference, diversity, equity and inclusion in workplaces and learning environments. She has many years of experience teaching, facilitating, developing work and learning spaces in which both policies and practices reflect a commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity.
ASSOCIATE
Aliya Jamal
Aliya Jamal is a community based and academic researcher in the areas of health, social policy and equity. Aliya also has a background in adult and youth education, social service provision and community organizing with queer, trans and Two-Spirit Black, Indigenous and people of colour. She has supported numerous organizations to build inclusion and equity through training, evaluation, research, and policy development. Aliya is currently completing a Masters of Public Health at the University of Victoria. Her thesis looks at how frontline service providers experience organizational change initiatives designed to promote health equity.
